Social Media - Hustlers, Life Coaches and “Buy my Course for 5 Dollors to Become Rich in 5 Steps”

Why is everyone an “Expert” on social media ? Lately everyone proclaims themselves as gurus, life coaches and strategists who suddenly start to give wisdom on everything.  Scroll for 5 minutes, and you see a wannabe Andrew Tate who calls himself a “wealth coach”, like dude your 20, you just graduated high school and how you gonna start giving everyone else advice. It’s a digital circus with these so called “mindset mentors” who offer a fresh guide on how we unlock our potential for the low, low price of 5 dollars. And the most sad part is people actually falling for these scams, like think about it, if these “mindset mentors’s” courses actually work then why can’t they just use it for themselves to get richer and why would they need profits from our subscription.

The hustle guru—the type who insists that if you’re not getting up at 4:30 a.m., you don’t want it enough. These people post that if you really wanted success, you’d be grinding while others sleep. And sure, it sounds great, until you realize most of them don’t seem to be doing much grinding beyond reposting the same three motivational quotes. You don’t have to wake up at 4:30 to become rich, I’m pretty sure you can still be successful if you wake up at 8. Sure I love the idea of hustling and hard work to be successful, but these “Hustlers” just do too much, and instead of promising to deliver success and discipline, they just deliver memes.

Finally are the life coaches, they’re out here asking, “Are you living your best life?” Uh, let’s see—if I follow their advice to quit my day job and start selling handmade candles on Etsy, maybe? Life coaching has become the social media side hustle of choice. Need advice on your career, relationship, or just how to remember to drink water? There’s a coach for that, usually with exactly three months more life experience than you. They’ll happily let you know that the only thing standing between you and greatness is their $200 e-book. Very inspiring—until you realize this person’s last job was probably coaching their dog through housebreaking.

Overall, it’s important that we don’t fall for these scams on social media and realize that most of these people don’t care whether you succeed or not, all that matters to them is the profits and their image on social media.
